Bus Sends and Aux Channels

For those listening (not using the visuals) 1:20: Question: What were they and why were they used?

For those listening (not using the visuals) 4:15 – use the steps from EQ and compression videos to import the audio. Here, Alexi has chosen “Classical Guitar Dry”

For those listening (not using the visuals) 8:38 Alexi is switching between the Room size and reverb time controls, and then leaves the plug in briefly to increase the send on the guitar channel TO the reverb

For those listening (not using the visuals) 7:00 Alexi has clicked on the send control on the guitar channel which is sending audio to the reverb. He’s opening that, and experimenting with the level going to the reverb.

For those listening (not using the visuals) 9:50 Alexi is moving the main reverb channel fader at the bottom of the screen to increase and decrease the overall reverb master.

For those listening (not using the visuals) 11:00 Pre/Post fader controls were a physical button next to each aux send on larger physical desks. However in DAWs it’s nearly always just called PRE (if you can’t find it in your DAW!)

Here’s the finished track. What do you think of the settings we chose?:
