Recording Package FAQs

What defines a 'Commercial Release'?

This can be quite a nebulous term. Within this context, it means that we will do all we can to ensure the material is fully prepared to stand shoulder to shoulder with other successful commercial releases in a similar genre.

Why do I need a Consultation?

Our consultation ensures the essentials (like keys, tempos, instrumentation, chords) are all appropriate and studio-ready. It also gives a chance to chat through the session, the instruments and any thoughts or questions you may have. This is also a chance to chat through other nuances and production ideas.

This event also gives you chance to show your guests around the studio, to inspire them deeper into your music so they work harder on your behalf promoting the music. Guest numbers will depend on current Covid restrictions.

We’re more than happy to chat through why this is so essential – but here we have some further information for you – and a helpful video. We spend a lot of time ensuring your material will always be mastered to the latest requirements of the streaming platforms, or for the specific requirements of vinyl, or CD.

Why enter a music competition?

New music thrives best when exposed to new audiences. Competitions are a way of getting your music in front of new audiences. There’s very little (if any) cost to you to enter, but slowly, as you win more awards, and then use the awards to leverage access to festivals, labels and
