We have worked with many of the local schools from producing the Merton 2012 handover song to running GCSE & A-level courses and one-off workshops and recording training CDs for the Albert Hall Merton Schools Concert with MMF. Contact John for more information on education.
Our termly education programme includes A-level & B-Tec Music Technology private group training as well as weekly or short-term training.

Many people, especially within the music industry suffer from mental health issues, including depression for varying lengths of time. Crown Lane provides a safe place for musical experimentation and a chance to enjoy regular social interaction with those with similar interests. Contact us as spaces at the weekly sessions are very limited.
Elective courses are also run on a termly basis – These spaces are filled very quickly. For more information on these courses please contact Imagine Merton directly, the sponsor of these courses.
“I have used Crown Lane Studio regularly, both for personal recordings and for my work as a social inclusion bridge builder. John is a professional in his music production as well as in his teaching role. John has enabled many of my clients to achieve goals way beyond their original expectations. Bear in mind that they are clients who are often from marginalised backgrounds. John has not only given them skills but confidence and direction. Some clients have already gone on to self-employment through music and composition”
